Chepstow House is situated in a quiet residential area approximately ½ mile from Ross-on-Wye town centre. The house is a large well-furbished detached property, standing in its own grounds, within easy walking distance of a wide range of shops and the local park.

Overlooking the River Wye, the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye offers a lively town centre with a wide range of local amenities and strong transport links to Gloucester, Hereford and the Forest of Dean.

Overview of the service

Chepstow House is a specialist residential home for up to 14 adults with learning disabilities who may also have a dual diagnosis (including mental health problems or Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and additional complex needs.

Whilst we are able to accommodate both short-term and longer-term placements for younger adults, the specialism of our skilled and experienced staff team lies in achieving positive outcomes, and a sense of security and predictability, for older individuals placed in our care on a longer-term basis.

Further assisting our ability to offer tailored care and support, the physical environment of Chepstow House is divided into two distinct living areas, the smaller of which has been purposefully designed for individuals who are more likely to exhibit challenging behaviours from time to time.
